Giveaway Goodness Now With Extra Photography

Here I am again, bearing good news and the latest Giveaway Goodness! Well, the good news is the Giveaway Goodness, but that's not really the point. Thank you to the wonderful Rachel behind Moonflowers Photography, one lucky reader will have their pick of any photo from her incredible Etsy store!

Rachel alternates between Polaroid cameras, film and digital Canons, a holga, dianas and a few more old cameras for good measure. Not only am I incredibly envious of her camera collection, but her style is absolutely lust-worthy too. From soft, blurred forms through to crisp, sharp planes, her fantastic talent shines through across all formats.

I tried to select just a few of my favourites but I had a difficult time selecting any that I wasn't completely infatuated with...so good luck choosing just one favourite, because to be in the running, you're going to have to try your best! Mosie on over to Moonflowers Photography and choose which piece you'd most love to see on your wall, then rock on back here and tell us why! One entry per person pretty please! Entries will be open until 11:59pm Friday 29 May, so get cracking!

I'm still on the hunt for reasonably priced Polaroid 600 film in my own back yard (alas, the Aussie dollar makes most eBay sales crazy expensive!) but in the meantime I shall drool over Rachel's beautiful photography. She also has a great site full of beautiful portraits and wedding photography, AND her own blog full of gorgeous little goodies too! So much loveliness, so little bandwidth (my internet speed is capped for another 9 days - ahhhhhh!)

Good luck!

Annnnnnd...I didn't wish you all a happy weekend last Friday! How rude! Then to make matters even worse, I didn't even say happy Monday. So I have a little more redemption coming up soon. Stay tuned my pretties!

because of the focus. its a feeling. the feeling i have inside myself, sad and sick, wrapped in a big quilt. I became very symbolic on the first photography, you see the beauty before the deep, the water - unfocused.
I really fell in love with these pictures. Which is good :)

I love the "Float" photograph. We're expecting our first baby in September and it would look darling in the nursery!

OH I really like the "Fresh" - I'd have it in whichever kitchen I was currently occupying (I move approx once a year atm!) , I think kitchens can be so underrated as decorative spaces.

Seeing as I have already won the 'Shiny Squirre' giveaway, I won't enter the competition but I'm writing just to say thanks for sharing these pictures. Love how whimsical they are.

My favorite has to be Ferris Wheel.
I have an addiction to black and white photos and this.. is a masterpiece. Not to mention it would look amazing in my room, on my wall.

Such a hard choice but I finally narrowed it down to A Daisy. Daisy's are my favorite flower, and I think this photograph perfectly pictures what a daisy seems to stand for. Lean and delicate, innocent and bright. The focus and lighting is beautiful!

Her pictures have a dreamy quality to them, if that makes any sense. I love all the carnival pictures, but my favorite is the Ferris Wheel. Thanks for sharing!

My fave is Bring on the Dancing Horses - it has a dreamy quality and I have a thing for pics of plastic toy animals - I don't know why...seriously - it's an addiction...

I would love the ferris wheel pic for my wall, because it's fun (and work is not)!

I would love to have "Bring on the dancing horses" or "Blackberries". One is so clear and mysterious and the other so rich with the blackberries' texture and color.
I love her work! Would be honored to win :)

(Ripe) Aw! What a sad little strawberry. I wouldn't wanna eat it. I'd keep it company and love it because it looks lonely. I want to hug that strawberry = [

As a photographer myself, I really like the black vase photograph because it simply Pops! And has a good message behind it. Yet, what I really * need* are the pink daisy envelopes since it's wedding thank-you-card time and our flowers were those exact ones :) steveandkatek@gmail.com
