The universe is full of magical things,
patiently waiting
for our wits to grow sharper.
patiently waiting
for our wits to grow sharper.
- Eden Phillpotts
Do not go where the path may lead,
go instead where there is no path
and leave a trail.
go instead where there is no path
and leave a trail.
- Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803 - 1882)
One's destination is never a place
but rather a new way of looking at things.
but rather a new way of looking at things.

Wonderful quotes!
I wanna trade places with that girl on the pic.
Gorgeous.
The girl in the last picture reminds me of the Interpol song 'Direction'. It is a instrumental piece that would really make a good soundtrack for that last shot.
The Miller quote, the best of the three, is dead on for the photo. Is it the new, unknown and unseen place that she should go off to, or is there something calling her back to where she is leaving, something that she didn't notice at first, and now that she sees it, it give her pause.
Her tired, wearied look of confustration, torn between where she hopes to go and what she is leaving. "Should I do 'this' or do I stay and do 'that'? The question is such a burden for her, if only she had someone that she felt comfortable talking with, that would make such a difference ...
... but that is the same reason she is on the lonely stretch of road, hoping for a ride to her future. As dangerous a proposition that such a thing is for a beautiful young girl in the empty spaces, it still doesn't compare with the risk she would take by staying in 'that place, that old, moldy place that is home for broken dreams and hopes.
Instead she is on that desolate stretch of highway, wrestling with the thought of is it the place where she is coming from, or if it is how she SAW the place she'd like to be in her rearview mirror.
Good picture, as always!
Oh I loved that series...when I posted the first one, I didn't realize that there were others that went with them until after I published it. *doh!* lol. Glad you found them as pretty as I did! :D
