The Good News - Good Luck!

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter and a restful weekend! I just put my little feet up and snacked on chocolate, hot cross buns and tea all day long. Pure bliss!

So remember that exciting news I may have mentioned a couple (alright, a LOT) of times already? Well, drum roll please, because it's time for the very first installment of...

That's right ladies and gentlemen, I promised I'd pass around a little of my recent good luck, so here it is! And yes, by first installment I mean that there will be more. Many more. I'm especially excited to be sharing the love around this week because I have some fantastic help from the lovely people at...

Up for grabs for one lucky reader is any item from The Shiny Squirrel that happens to be $30 or less! If you're thinking $30 doesn't go very far nowadays, usually you'd be right...but not today my friends! Here's a few of my personal favourites, and they're all within the magic number! The Shiny Squirrel store has much more goodness too, so get foraging and find your own favourite!

To be in the running you just need to do 3 tiny things:

1. Head to The Shiny Squirrel store and find your favourite piece...
2. Leave a comment on this post telling us which piece you love and why!
3. Include a valid email address when submitting your comment.

That's it, easy right?! You have until 11:59pm AEST* this Friday to enter, so get cracking! The winner will be selected with the trusty Random Number Generator, then contacted by email and announced right here too. I hope you're all as excited about this as I am!

Good luck!

*According to my calculations, this should work out to 6:59am in LA, 9:59am in New York and 2:59pm in London, but maths and I aren't best friends so check out your local time compared to Australian Eastern Standard Time to be sure!)

Ms Unreliable,

that was a very hard task you just had us do! I looked through almost everything and I really loved the bear mask but if I had to choose my favorite 30 or under item I would choose: Jupiter by MollyButterFoss (a made up name?) It is so cutely portraying how you may not want to take that leap, but it is so tantalizing....or at least that's what I see. The website is seriously fabulous and I'm glad to shake hands with it! By the way I forgot to mention before that "drum up a little buzz" is one of my favorite phrases you have used-delightful!

Cool contest!

My favorite (which was hard to narrow down) is "Monsieur IV" by Blanca Gomez. I love the whimsy, the colors and who doesn't love blowing bubbles?!

It would look fabulous in any of the rooms of our new home, but I'm thinking the colors would fit the bright, whimsical theme of our main/children's bathroom.

Thanks!

thank you for introducing us all to this lovely site. so much to look at and enjoy and i loved the Paper Bag girls on the opening page. A little more exploring led me to the work of Emmi Jormalainen. Emmi is Finnish and I love Finnish art and illustration. Like me, Emmi loves the Moomins. Her delightful painting Hold My Hand has especially captured my imagination - I like to think that with the help of her friends, the little girl will be able to overcome her fears and forfil her dreams.

I love the Bloom Card Series by Sub-Studio as well as Sampler Card Set by Sarah.

My favorite of favorites (which is exceedingly hard to pick when there is just SO much goodness over at The Shiny Squirrel) would have to be Gemma Correll's "I Like It When We Share" print. It's my favorite because it's a.) adorable, b.) true & c.) because I'd like to share a giant ice cream with a lovely lad. ( mallory (AT) wherethelovelythingsare.com is my email address).

what a rad site. all this online shopping is going to send me broke.

my fav is the coffee pot plate. if i don't win it (which is likely because my luck is flat-lining at the mo') - i'll buy it because it's gorgeous and i love the colour and i must have it.

My favorite is actuallt the Cascading Cupcakes you've shown here.
Why?
Because it goes just swell with my new outlook on life that is, to be as lighthearted and fun as possible and this will help me by bringing a smile to my face each and every time I set my gaze in its direction.

Happy Moment by Shira Sela is my favorite, because... well, I like happy moments!

Under $30, I'd pick Monsieur I by Blanca Gomez, because it would remind me to be happy, even on rainy days :)

I like Monsieur I by Bianca Gomez (and I don't think I'm the only one!)
It's so simple yet you can say so much through it.
It would remind you to be hopeful and stay positive through both rain and shine because you never know what's ahead.
I love the use of colours and the all round simplicity of the clouds and images and I think it could bring a smile to the face of anyone.

Cute contest! I too ate way too much chocolate, but it was the Sour Patch Kids that did me in.

I love "Mademoiselle under the rain" by Blanca Gomez. It is cheerful in its adorable simplicity, and is signed by the artist. Which is pretty cool.

(If I smoked I would have chosen "Need a Few" by Dallas Shaw. It was great).

Oh my goodness, I've never seen this website before, and I'm so in love with it!
I adore the 'Kiss' print by Kate Banazi and 'Extinction' print by Molly Butterfoss. I'm not sure which I love more, because the 'Kiss' print is done originally, and it's just so simple but cute. I have a soft spot for love-related things. However, I love the 'Extinction' one because of the fact that there's a dinasaur in it.. a dinasaur! How awesome!

Anyways, I really hope you pick me, I'm in major need of something new, I've been saving for school and motivation is minimal here.
