THAT [unreliable] GIRL

Speaking of vases, I do actually harbour a fairly unhealthy obsession with anything that can even vaguely pass as a vase, although I never quite get around to buying flowers to actually put in them! Thankfully for me however, Martin Klimas has created a beautiful series of floral photography that one day will adorn my walls...but these photos definitely aren't what you'd expect of a still life series.

In fact, despite the impression of stillness at first glance, these are actually beautifully captured moments of destruction.

I won't harp on about the wastefulness of a consumerist society or the destruction of war. This beautiful series could mean any number of things to any number of views, but as far as I'm concerned, it's simply a truly inspiring exercise in high-speed photography.
