Beautiful Explosions

I knew this was going to be a long week when my iPhone freaked out, my iTunes kept freezing and I ended up relying on a backup from August 2009! And because that wasn't quite annoying enough, less than 24 hours later my poor little PC also decided to give one last flashing blue screen of doom before officially surrendering itself to the heavens. So one factory settings iPhone and a newly formatted PC later, it's probably an understatement to say that the next thing on the List of Things to Explode is, quite likely, my head. Oh, did I mention my attempts to back up my PC didn't work either? Superb!

Meanwhile, the moral of the story (aside from making sure your backups actually freakin' work!) is that I have a really exciting Tiny Ten to share with you, but in a last-ditch attempt to delay the inevitable brain explosion, you're going to have to wait until tomorrow. More organised bloggers would no doubt have already perfected the post by now, but hey, look at the name of this blog! Do I seem like the organised type to you? I think not.

So with any luck, I shall see you all here tomorrow. I promise it will be worth the wait!

P.S. If you have any great (PG Rated) tips on how to destress, I'd love to hear them!

I feel your pain - that sux. I hope you have a good sleep - I find that always helps me destress. Oh and a lot of tequilla...
Looking forward to tomorrow's post.

Hehe I don't know if good sleep and tequila can safely go hand in hand!
A dramatic explosion !
First, I really like that photo. But, I'm so sorry! I had one of those weeks in the fall. Everything broke and my life fell apart. Naps, running, cooking, SHOPPING. I love those. Good luck this week!

Hope you're having a better week now Brittany! Naps are definitely my weapon of choice, but shopping is definitely a close second :D
Your week sounds like mine, except instead of an iPhone it was a Blackberry & instead of a computer it was a SUV. ;) Try going for a nice drive at night with your window down & your music up loud! That's what I do.

Ooh that sounds lovely, I'm going to remember that! Hope your week has improved and your essential technology is back in order :D
Beautiful image! :)
I'm sorry it's been rough. I go for a walk with my music loud in my ears when I need to clear my head...

Mmm good plan, it's nice to wander around with your own little soundtrack cranking!
sounds like you need a trip to the spa to me!

I couldn't agree more! Massage, facial, mani, pedi...oh yes please!
You know what they say, everything happens in threes! So maybe this is the end of that kind of nonsense! Have a good day anyway. Love your blog.

Hehe so true, the head explosion was sort of unavoidable the, wasn't it? All back on track this week though, yay! Thank you :D
That was very poeticly put. You seem like you know what you are doing on here. I just came across this site and stumbbled upon your blog, I want to add to favorites or whatever it is on here, but I'm not sure how.
If you could look at mine, it's not very good, and the only one I would recomend is the one titled "Movies lie to your children" If you could just to tell me what you think and any suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks
Sarah

Hi Sarah,

If you want to keep up to date with blogs, especially Blogger/Blogspot blogs, you can usually find a little Followers widget where you can click Follow - this will subscribe you to that blog and then you can add certain blogs to your iGoogle homepage, or just read them all in a reader like Google Reader.

I'm sorry to read that you're stopping your blog, but I really hope you do start another one up with the right reasons in mind! It can take a little while to find your own voice, but once you have it really can be enriching!

All the best,

xx Kit

Yes they definitely have their moments! Mr. U got one at the same time I did and he's never had any problems, but mine has been a constant battle! Such is my luck with technology, I'm resigned to that fact :D
just found your blog- love it! :)

Thank you kindly Kate! It's a bit of a mish-mash but I'm glad so many lovely people seem to like that :D
Make an Iphone, Ipod, computer bonfire to destress.

I like the way your blog looks. It makes people want to see what its all about

Jon, I giggled at your comment for a while, then I stopped and seriously considered it...that's probably not a good sign, is it?!

Might go buy some marshmallows, just in case!
Exceptionally stunning pic - explains your frustrations very well!
Hi All, I am new to this - have written 3 blogs so far, but will keep doing more.

Thank you Ambrosia! Feel free to link to any of your blogs in the Website field, I may be very slow but I do try to make it to the site of each and every lovely person who comments :)
This is a fabulous blog, dearie! Keep up the good work :)

Thank you Rachel, I'll do my best! Just moseyed over to your blog and giggled as soon as the header image loaded.

Meanwhile, I'm every jealous of your Poptart adventures, even if the end result was painful. I wish I could burn my fingers on them, they're almost impossible to find in Australia and they're SO expensive in the few places that do stock them. Boo :(
