Wednesday Wisdom - Hope and Cheer

Hope, like the gleaming taper's light,

Adorns and cheers our way;

And still, as darker grows the night,

Emits a brighter ray.

- Oliver Goldsmith (1730 - 1774)

Hi Kit,
I just stumbled across your blog (I think via yellowtrace..?) and subsequently lost an hour poring over your archives. So much inspiration all in one place. My mind is reeling - but in a totally good way. As someone from an art history background with a designer for a mother, your content is pretty much a perfect combo of everything that interests (and distracts!) me. All I can say is keep up the fantastic work!

Oh and PS: how amazing is Louise Hawdon?! I die with photo-jealousy every time I look at 52 suburbs, and only wish iI had the time and resources to do something similar in Melbourne.
